Hi Eric,

Could you check if status of BT RCU is connected or not in Android TV Settings (remote control & accessory) ?
If not, please try to remove battery of RCU for 10 seconds and install back to test again.
Sometimes we also see this kind of issue, but it will be recovered after reinstall RCU battery.

Hi Kerwin,

As I already mentioned in the test procedure and actual result, it's displayed as BT RCU's connection in remote control & accessory menu for a long time.

BTW, this issue has been reproduced, and tried to remove the battery of RCU for 10 seconds, then BT connection is displayed in the menu when inserting battery again.

Even though this symptom disappeared due to removing battery of RCU for 10 seconds, this kind of solution will unable to be accepted by SKB managers.
Please help seek the root casue and solution.

Hi Kerwin,

To verify if this issue is casued by RCU SW's difference, I will try to reproduce it with Janson's RCU as you already discussed with him.
But we need to learn what is the cause of this issue at least, so please update here your review result.
If this issue will be occurred even after 0000533 issue will be fixed, it will impact our overall schedule.
Please update your review result first.

Hi Kerwin,

Just reproduced this issue with Jason's RCU.
Please find logcat and btsnoop logs.
And as I already mentioned, please update your review result first.

Hi Eric,

After checking logcat messages, I see the STB is able to receive "SKB_FUNC_10" repair key. (around line 17780)
I think IR function works well on STB.
Since there are many STB in the office, sometimes BT RCU may connect to other STB.
There will be no IR keycode send out once RCU is in BT mode.
Jason will help you to check RCU is in BT or IR mode by camera of mobile phone.

Hi Kerwin,

Just conducted the test with Jason's RCU(that SW/HW version are printed).
When the issue has been encountered, RCU is in BT mode and STB's BT is in the disconnection status, so no keys have been working.
As a result, It doesn't seem that this symptom has been encountered due to the difference between RCU's version.

Hi Eric,

We did some changes on V15.502.9 release to avoid thread timing issue in BT stack.
Please check if the issue still exists or not.
BTW, please make sure to clear RCU pair information and reinstall battery before you start to test.

Hi Kerwin,

Just verified this issue with RCU's latest version(v1.30) + STB's v15.502.9.
The behavior on BT pairing and connection got better over all, and also BT behavior both for retrying BT connection with the same RCU and for trying BT connection with another RCU got better than previous one.
Overall BT behavior is similar to the reference STB.

This issue has not been reproduced yet, and it seems to be impoved
